Notice is hereby given a meeting of Northill Parish Council will be held at the Methodist Church Hall, Upper Caldecote on Thursday 26th January 2023 at 7.30pm. All members of this Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the Meeting as set out hereunder:

AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest from councillors on items on the agenda that have not previously been registered.
2.1 To receive any written requests for dispensations for disclosable pecuniary interests.
2.2 To grant any requests for dispensations as appropriate.
3. To approve the minutes of the meeting held on the 8th December 2022.
4. To receive updates on resolutions from the last meeting (Clerk).
5. A short presentation on a project to re-establishment of Ickwell Bury Outer Park and a proposal to build a single residential dwelling.
6. Open forum for 10 minutes to allow members of the press and public to speak on any open agenda item.

9. Central Bedfordshire Council
9.1 To receive a report from CBC Councillor F Firth.
9.2 To consider asking CBC to carry out a feasibility study regarding an underpass at footpath 7 where it crosses the A1.
9.3 Proposed Pan-Bedfordshire Bus Users’ Forum.
9.4 CBC Design Guide SPD and Housing Policy Technical Guidance SPD consultations.
10. Finance
10.1 Accounts to be approved.
10.2 Feedback on grants.
10.3 To consider the appointment of an internal auditor for 2022/23.
10.4 Income and Expenditure to 31st December 2022.
10.5 Northill Village Hall S106/loan.
10.6 To consider the quotations for the grass cutting contract for 2023-2026.
10.7 To consider sending flowers or a donation to a charity for the late Alan Bigg, former councillor and clerk to Northill Parish Council.
11 Parish Matters
11.1 Ickwell Green – a) Annual maintenance of the accommodation track. b) An update from CBC regarding the water course. c) Correspondence from the RBL requesting permission to place 2 ‘Tommy Memorial’ statues at the war memorial.
11.2 To consider a revised quote for the restoration of the Lychgate.
11.3 Warden Road bank
11.4 To consider commemorative memorabilia for the King’s Coronation.
11.5 Speedwatch. To consider asking the schools if the children would produce posters that could be put up throughout the villages asking for volunteers for Speedwatch.
11.6 To consider installing a defibrillator in Northill.
11.7 New Community Woodland on Land near Beeston.
11.8 Allotments.
11.9 To consider any responses to the raised flower beds.
