Notice is hereby given a meeting of Northill Parish Council will be held at the Methodist Church Hall, Upper Caldecote on Thursday 9th March 2023 at 7.30pm. All members of this Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the Meeting as set out hereunder:

AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest from councillors on items on the agenda that have not previously been registered.
2.1 To receive any written requests for dispensations for disclosable pecuniary interests.
2.2 To grant any requests for dispensations as appropriate.
3. To approve the minutes of the meeting held on the 26th January 2023.
4. To receive updates on resolutions from the last meeting (Clerk).
5. Open forum for 10 minutes to allow members of the press and public to speak on any open agenda item.

10. Parish Matters
10.1 Ickwell Green a) Annual maintenance of the accommodation track; b) An update from CBC regarding the watercourse; c) Parking issues on the Green; d) To consider a request from Bedford Morris Men to dance around the Maypole on the 1st May; e) Correspondence from Ickwell Cricket Club regarding a recent Disability Access Audit carried out on the pavilion; f) To consider replacing a new ‘communal’ Ickwell Village Hall notice board on the outside of the fence adjacent to the P3 notice board rather than inside where it is now. Ickwell Village Hall now has a new perimeter fence and the old notice board needs replacing and it would be difficult to put it inside the new fence.
10.2 The restoration of the Lychgate.

10.5 Speedwatch.
10.6 Raised beds around the parish and the planting of bulbs.
10.7 To consider commemorative memorabilia or the King’s Coronation.
10.8 Warden Road verge.
10.9 To consider a proposal to upgrade footpath 5 to a bridleway.
10.10 Correspondence regarding the boundary at All Saints Churchyard.
10.11 Correspondence regarding Give & Take Time.
10.12 Correspondence requesting a 20mph speed limit on Bedford Road, Northill.
10.13 Emergency Plan – a) To consider adding the emergency number for the LPG tanks at the Bedford Road development to the Emergency Plan; b) To request that an emergency number is displayed at the LPG tanks at the Thorncote Road development.

15. To resolve that under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act and in view of the confidential nature of business about to be transacted, it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public be temporarily excluded, and they are instructed to withdraw whilst matters pertaining to item 16 are discussed.
