Notice is hereby given a meeting of Northill Parish Council will be held at the Methodist Church Hall, Upper Caldecote on Thursday 20th April 2023 at 7.30pm. All members of this Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the Meeting as set out hereunder:

AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest from councillors on items on the agenda that have not previously been registered.
2.1 To receive any written requests for dispensations for disclosable pecuniary interests.
2.2 To grant any requests for dispensations as appropriate.
3. To approve the minutes of the meeting held on the 9th March 2023.
4. To receive updates on resolutions from the last meeting (Clerk).
5. Open forum for 10 minutes to allow members of the press and public to speak on any open agenda item.

8.1 To receive a report from CBC Councillor F Firth.
9. Finance
9.1 Accounts to be approved.
9.2 Feedback on grants.
9.3 Income & Expenditure to 31st March 2023 and draft accounts for 2022/23.
9.4 To agree 2 signatories for the accounts.
9.5 To consider purchasing ‘Bleed Kits’ and installing cabinets for their storage.
9.6 Notification from CBC of the first instalment of the precept for 2023/24.
9.7 To consider long term investment accounts.
10. Parish Matters
10.1 Ickwell Green a) Annual maintenance of the accommodation track; b) An update from CBC regarding the watercourse; c) Play area inspection checks; d) A report from a meeting with ICC and councillors regarding the Disability Access Audit carried out at the pavilion; e) To consider where to remove the Horse Chestnut tree to, which was planted as a Sweet Chestnut tree on Ickwell Green and replace it with a Sweet Chestnut tree.
10.2 The restoration of the Lychgate.
10.3 Caldecote church Rooms.
10.4 Warden Road bank
10.5 Allotments.
10.6 Speedwatch.
10.7 Raised beds around the parish and the planting of bulbs.
10.8 Emergency Plan.
10.9 Correspondence requesting permission to plant a small hedgerow around the nature mound at All Saints Churchyard.
10.10 To consider whether the defibrillators in the parish have the correct signage.
10.11 To consider the recommendation of the Finance & General Purposes Committee on the annual tree survey.
10.12 Correspondence received from National Highways regarding the closure of the crossing at Tingey’s Corner.
10.13 Correspondence requesting support from the Parish Council for the Country Fayre and Music Festival to be held in August for the St John’s Hospice Moggerhanger.

To resolve that under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act and in view of the confidential nature of business about to be transacted, it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public be temporarily excluded, and they are instructed to withdraw whilst matters pertaining to item 16 are discussed.
