Notice is hereby given a meeting of Northill Parish Council will be held at Ickwell Village Hall, Ickwell on Thursday 18th July 2024 at 7.30pm. All members of this Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the Meeting as set out hereunder:

1. To receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest from councillors on items on the agenda that have not previously been registered.
2.1 To receive any written requests for dispensations for disclosable pecuniary interests.
2.2 To grant any requests for dispensations as appropriate.
3. To approve the minutes of the Annual meeting of the parish council held on the 30th May 2024.
4. To receive updates on resolutions from the last meeting (Clerk).
5. Open forum for 10 minutes to allow members of the press and public to speak on any open agenda item.

9.5 To consider reinvesting £100,000 in a fixed term bank account as recommended by the Finance & General Purposes Committee.
9.6 To consider adopting the new Financial Regulations as recommended by the Finance & General Purposes Committee.
9.7 To consider the quote for the ramp at Caldecote Cemetery as recommended by the Finance & General Purposes Committee.

10.6 To consider a representative to talk at Traffic Management Committee regarding the 20mph limit outside Northill CE Academy on 24th September at 10.00am.

10.8 To consider the aspirations of the Neighbourhood Plan.
10.9 Thorncote Road safety concerns in the non 30mph limit and within the 30mph at Thorncote Green and Hatch.

10.13 To consider what action to take if another event like the one at Sand Lane takes place in the future.

To resolve that under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act and in view of the confidential nature of business about to be transacted, it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public be temporarily excluded, and they are instructed to withdraw whilst matters pertaining to item 15 are discussed.
