Notice is hereby given a meeting of Northill Parish Council will be held at Northill Village Hall, Northill on Thursday 9th September 2021 at 7.30pm. All members of this Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the Meeting as set out hereunder:

AGENDA
1. To receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of interest from councillors on items on the agenda that have not previously been registered.
2.1 To receive any written requests for dispensations for disclosable pecuniary interests.
2.2 To grant any requests for dispensations as appropriate.
3. To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 22nd July 2021.
4. To receive any updates on resolutions from the last meetings. (Clerk).
5. Open forum for 10 minutes to allow members of the press and public to speak on any open agenda item.

8.2 Correspondence from CBC regarding the number of councillors on parish councils.

9.1 Accounts to be approved.
9.2 Feedback on grants.
9.3 Notification from Mazars of the completion of the External Audit for the year ended 31st March 2021.
10. Parish Matters
10.1 Ickwell Green a) Update on the Woodland play area. b) The stream c) Annual maintenance of the accommodation track
10.2 The restoration of the Lychgate.
10.3 Correspondence regarding Caldecote Church Rooms as a response to the article in the newsletter.
10.4 The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – to consider whether to purchase a) mugs for school children or b) Jubilee roses for a limited number of households or c) any other suggestions.
10.5 Correspondence regarding the Warden Road bank as a response to the article in the newsletter.
10.6 Maintenance of the verges in the parish.
10.7 Update from the tree planting working party.
10.8 To consider a request to hold a car show on Ickwell Green.
10.9 Correspondence as a response to the newsletter.
10.10 To consider whether the wildflower area in St Mary’s Churchyard should remain.
10.11 Correspondence regarding Caldecote Cemetery and car park.
11 Information and communications
11.1 General correspondence for circulation – Fieldwork Summer 2021; Countryside Voices Summer 2021; Clerks & Councils Direct September 2021.
11.2 Correspondence regarding the August newsletter.
11.3 Correspondence giving thanks to NPC for allowing the St John’s Hospice Fundraising Fete to take place on Ickwell Green.
12. Staff and Councillor matters.
12.1 To consider the Action Plan for 2021/22 – Please bring the Action Plans with you with who is going to do what and when.
12.2 Meeting dates 2022.
12.3 Poppy wreath order for Remembrance Sunday.
12.4 An agreement between NPC and a resident of Harvey Close regarding a gate onto NPC’s land.
12.5 To consider the distribution of correspondence in particular complaints from residents about the parish.
12.6 An invitation to the CPRE AGM on 7th October at 7pm.
13. Proposed Temporary Road Closure a) The Ridgeway, Moggerhanger; b) Thorncote Road, Northill; c) Bedford Road, Old Warden; d) Shefford Road/ZUC147 Southill.
14. Items for the next agenda
15 To resolve that under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act and in view of the confidential nature of business about to be transacted, it is advisable in the public interest that the press and public be temporarily excluded, and they are instructed to withdraw whilst matters pertaining to item 16 are discussed.
